Fulshear

Acreage, new construction, and small-town pace at the western edge of the metro.

Fulshear has been one of the fastest-growing addresses in the Houston metro, and it draws buyers who want square footage and land without giving up access to the city. Lot sizes here are genuinely larger, and the newer master-planned sections (Cross Creek Ranch, Fulbrook on Fulshear Creek, Jordan Ranch) deliver amenities that rival anything closer in.

New construction dominates, which creates both opportunity and risk. Builder incentives can be substantial, but so can the gap between what a builder charges and what the home appraises for on resale two years later. That's a conversation worth having before you sign.

Buyers looking for acreage will find it here in a way they won't in Katy proper, with parcels well over an acre still trading in reach of ordinary budgets.
